Lilliput Lane's "Ladybird Cottage" is based on  No 29   NN16 9XJ  [IoE 231167]

It is on the right when you have entered the village

from the A4300 and before the road turns right on itself.  [Claire Scott info].

Next cottage is York House

One detail on cottage and model is this style of chimney
The Church of St Edmund [IoE 231157]
I was drawn by this unusual window and found the Church open with the team of ladies on cleaning duty. they showed me round the interior which had a another surprise namely 4 very large monuments of the Montagu family by L.F. Roubiliac who also sculpted Newton (& others) at Trinity College, Cambridge
On the corner is the Village Hall, formerly the school [IoE 231159]
