Lilliput Lane's "Flying Scotsman" is based on the LNER Locomotive 4472 Flying Scotsman When I visited in June 2007 it was undergoing restoration at the National Railway Museum, Leeman Road, YO26 4XJ, UK ( 01904 621261) It became available for the public to see in May 2011 I returned in July 2013 to see how well it had progressed and found it in a corner of the NRM "Works" whilst crowds were looking at "The Great Gathering of A4 Pacifics". 					I returned to NRM for a "Behind the Scenes" Tour on November 20, 2017 and saw it in its restored condition
