"Behind the Scenes" Nov 20, 2017

On November 20, 2017 I visited NRM for a "Behind the Scenes" Tour. This gave access to the main areas for an hour before the general public opening. It also enabled a walk through the floor of the workshop where the A4 "Sir Nigel Gresley" was under repair. Then a visit to the archives to see early drawings and railway paintings.
   
This is a handwritten account of the first run of Rocket to win the prize.
