These gothic cottages were built as part of the former Trevalyn Hall estates. The style is called cottage orné   Marford website

Lilliput Lane's "Labour Of Love" is based on  "Beech Cottage" on the A483 just south of Rossett. It was for sale when I visited.
Next door is a similar building ... ... and another opposite
... with this one up the road

As it's very difficult to park I'd a visit to the "Trevor Arms Hotel" where you can park, having had a drink and/or eaten
