Suggestions on "how to get there"

HIlary Armstrong writes: "The easiest way to get to it is through Lechlade village and at the end of a row of houses there is a turning showing a dead end walk down the footpath and it leads to the gate for the round house and the footpath runs next to it you will come to a bridge over the river good place for pictures.

I took an alternate route, which is particularly useful if you only want to see it from afar, as well as close to.

If you take the A361 (Thames Street) south from Lechlade, after about 600m you will see the sign to Riverside Park. This is a pay and display car park (I think £1.50 in Aug 2016). Park there.

You may be able to drive a bit further towards the river with a low vehicle.

You will need to pass through some gates and follow the path down to the river and then turn south (left). After a short distance you pass over a small stream and then should be able to see the buildings in the distance
A pleasant 600m walk will take you to the river opposite the buildings.
