In Glenridding, take Greenside Road and follow it past the Travellers Rest pub until you come to a fork (see photo above). The cottage is to the left. This leads down to Gillside Farm which is a camping, caravan and hiking site. The road may be coned off but I think there is a walking right of way. The cottage is on the right just before Rattlebeck Bridge.
