Bardwell is a village in Suffolk. I originally visited on June 2, 2006 to see the windmill which is undergoing re-construction.

I returned several times including July 21, 2007;  July 26, 2008; June 25, 2011 (Bardwell Open Gardens); Aug 21, 2011(Threshing Day)

The village was used in several episodes of the hit TV comedy series "Dad's Army".
