Lilliput Lane's "Dovecote" is based on The Round House, 9 Main Street, Little Thetford. This used to be a lookout in Cromwellian times but has been converted to a private dwelling. When we saw it on Aug 4, 2005 they were having work done around the building.

I have since heard from the owner that he plans to let this as a holiday home. I will then provide a link in case you want to stay.
