Thames Trip : On August 4, 2012,  I attended the Olympic Games Equestrian Jumping event in Greenwich Park and then took the river trip on the Thames from Greenwich to London Bridge It was the first time I'd seen Cutty Sark from the river since it was rebuilt........ ................. but it was joined by HMS Ocean, an aircraft carrier, as part of Olympics security               This police launch seemed to be in a hurry Thames Barges downstream of Tower Bridge The yacht "Ilona" Tower Bridge with the Olympic Rings "Spirit of Chartwell" was used as the Royal Barge in the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant     Old Billingsgate became "Club France" for the Olympics     On London Bridge a "Pedibus"     This is a personal website run by John Saville.  All web pages are Copyright John Saville as are all photographs unless otherwise indicated.
