One of my earliest memories
is of
Overstrand. When I was 2 we had a holiday in a railway carriage
"camping
coach", It rained heavily and my parents invited a group of kids
on an outing to shelter. Overstrand used to be on the Cromer to North
Walsham Line. I visited on June 15, 2009 to take some photos. I
returned on September 13. 2019 and had a trip down "Station Road" and
did some more investigating (see below)

Information about The Old Station Overstrand
This station was on the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway line from
Cromer to North Walsham via Mundesley on Sea. It was owned and run by
the Great Eastern Railway
Both were rivals but on this line and
the Lowestoft to Great Yarmouth line they worked together. The station
and line closed in 1953 after flood damage.
