Our North East London area was mainly taken from Essex with Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Barking and Havering being taken from there in 1964. Those boroughs plus Newham and Tower Hamlets are still part of the Diocese of Chelmsford. John was born in Tower Hamlets but lived most of his life in Redbridge including all his schools
