The River

The stream at the back is an old Mill Stream.

The Mill(s) burnt down in the 19th Century, but pictures can be seen at:

This is the oppositeside of the stream and the fence is the meadow where the Thompson's horses hang out all day.When the wind is blowing just right...

The original toll house is in back of me. It is really very old and charming. As it sits on a hill it is surprisingly large.

The worst flooding was in Jan 3, 2003 -- over half way up garden
