| On March 20, Kathryn
returned and inspected the new facilities... |
...which obviously
were appreciated... |

| ...so much that next
day she brought a friend we've named "O'Toole" |
...by April 28 Kathryn
was sitting awaiting the births |

| then on
May 9 the chicks started to hatch with 6 live births |
 |

| 6 ducklings were
born... |
...but 3 eggs remained
in the nest |
 |
 |
| By may 25
they were down to 3 ducklings........2 by May 27. |
| and then
disaster struck...another one disappeared.........Kathryn was killed on
the road...and "Karen" was killed by 4 Mallard males |

| The next day a new
couple arrived: "Lovejoy" and "Charlotte" |
They keep coming and
going (July 15) |

were joined by "Buddy" |
