| John stayed at the
Botsford Inn in the 1980's.
Henry Ford used to take Clara dancing there. |

At one time it was the oldest
Inn in Michigan still providing food and
lodging. It was the stagecoach stop here in
Clarenceville on the
Grand River plank road that followed an Indian trail that went on to
Lake Michigan. Unfortunately it has been empty
for many years.......and is too expensive for anyone to put back into
use. |

past and saw that a lot of the building had been demolished and the rest
will be part of a Cancer Unit for Botsford Hospital |
