Coffee Lunch Tea Dinner Tea Room, Thaxted   Cross Keys, Saffron Walden Chef & Brewer The first target of the day was to find the original of the Lilliput Lane model "Out for a Duck" at Arkesden in Essex. This is a thatched cricket pavillion, but we couldn't find it. Undeterred we moved on to have coffee in Thaxted...... ..............and then took a look at the picturesque village of Finchingfield.   We had lunch at the Bull in Cavendish in Sussex and to look at the home of a friend who lives at the Mill at Pentlow, just over in Essex. We returned through Clare to find the Lilliput Lane model "Parsons Retreat" which now a museum................. ...............via Hadstock to find the original of "Home is Where the Heart is" We continued via Saffron Walden and took refuge from the rain.....aslo managing to see West Ham on the pub TV   On to Cambridge as it was getting dark.   Eventually we stoopped at xxxxx for dinner.               This is a personal website run by John & Judy Saville.  All web pages are Copyright John & Judy Saville as are all photographs unless otherwise indicated.
