Duxford

RAF Duxford is part of the Imperial War Museum based at a former USAAF Bomber Station. [Short History]. It was used in the 1969 film "Battle of Britain".

We visited there on June 1, 2006 for an evening tour with the IET Cambridge branch (including a buffet supper)

A major attraction is the American Air Museum which houses a range of US aircraft
