The Clayton Windmills, more commonly called "Jack" [Duncton] &" Jill" [Lashmar's New Mill ], sit high on the South Downs. Photos

They are fascinating not just because there are still 2 mills in such close proximity .......

..............but that Jill is a "Post Mill" and "Jack" is a Tower Mill. "Jill" is being preserved. and Jack is in Private Ownership..... History
