A visit to Dovedale was one of the first we made in the UK This was a very surprising area. I had no idea this hilly area existed Green hills! Very different from flat Michigan. The whole country is really so the views go on for miles John caught me deep in thought gazing at the countryside. This river has cut through the hills for thousands of years. It is a very popular place for hiking. This photo doesn't do it justice but private owners graze the sheep in this national area.
