Ephesus

Up Horse Carriage Mary's House

Ephesus is an ancient city on the West Coast of Turkey with origins in Neolithic times but flourished under the Greeks & Romans. It had an early church after visits by St Paul and was one of the churches which he wrote to.                         
               
First a visit to "Mary's House" A horse drawn carriage was used to get to the main entrance
The Odeon was a small theatre with seating for 1500 - 2000

The Theatre ....It had a capacity of 25,000 ... where St Paul spoke  and caused a riot (Acts 19)
