Up Anniversary Games 2016 West Ham at Olympic Stadium

The Olympic Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Park Stratford was built as the main facility for the Olympic Games in 2012.

I did not get to visit during the Olympics but did so for the Paralympics, including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

It was subsequently used as an athletics stadium for the annual Anniversary Games, which I attended in July 2016.

From August 2016 it became the home stadium of West Ham United soccer team after its move from Boleyn Ground (Upton Park)
