"The Star"serves excellent food and is in the Good Pub Guide 2008 . The landlady is Spanish and so its food features on the excellent menu. [IoE 424805] Whilst there isn't a village green it does have the pub, a church and a village pond. There use to be a Norman castle where the church now stands.
