The new Lavenham town sign, just south of the old railway bridge, was dedicated by the Parish Council on Saturday 20 October 2007 to commemorate the 750th anniversary of Lavenham being awarded its Market Charter by Henry III in 1257 No 61 [IoE 276720] & Nos 62/3 [IoE 276721]
