More to see of interest "locally"....(history/buildings/attractions/theatre/sport) Clothes are cheaper and greater variety
Bread is much cheaper.... and nicer Food is cheaper in the main
You can boil a kettle quicker (240v versus 110v) Homes are bigger, many with basements. and much cheaper
Weather is more temperate (no extremes of hot & cold) Weather is "better" less "dismal" days
Garden season is much longer (than Michigan) Karaoke is organized better and more available
UK has a better variety and quality of chocolate Appliances are larger and more convenient
Public transport is very good Larger roads/ Less congested roads
