Cropredy

Up Cropredy Festival 2016

Cropredy is a small village in the centre of England on the Oxford Canal. It is on the Battlefields Trail
It's famous for the Fairport Convention Folk Festival as several of the original band members come from the village.

John went there on June 12, 2004 to see his friends John & Sue Larysz who were visiting on their new narrow boat, Oliver.

I returned in August 2016 to attend the Fairport Convention Folk Festival.

We had lunch at the Red Lion (which is in the Lucky Dip section of the Good Pub Guide 2008.
John then drove to Sussex to see Fairport perform at the Bluebell Line Folk Festival.
