Buckler's Hard is a picturesque 18th century village on the banks of the Beaulieu River in the heart of the New Forest.  
Lilliput Lane's "Master Builders at Bucklers Hard" is based on the Master Builder's House (now an hotel) SO42 7XB
   
St Mary's Chapel, which is just one of the houses in the terrace up from the hotel
   
  You don't often see a house like children draw them, 4 windows & central door
During the war the MOD used the area for practice for D Day ..... & an SoE unit  These shipways launched some of the boats in Nelson's fleet.
