One of the highlights of "Milford Memories" is the "Blind Canoe Race"     Pictures fromSunday August 13, 2006 It takes place on part of the Huron River in Central Park Teams of three paddle through an obstacle course while one team member calls out directions to the two blindfolded paddlers They paddle down to a bridge which they must touch before returning Some (most?) teams have problems with directions...... ...and it can get congested..... ...to the point of the odd collision..... ...or two...... ...occasionally resulting in a swim...... ...but the local fire rescue team are on hand...... ...though it sometimes gets very chaotic.
