Seen from a distance. It is difficult to get to the windmill
North of Halnaker village on A285. Park in small lay-by then follow public footpath to the mill, approx 0.5 m (20 min walk) on the track to the right of  Mill Cottage [IoE 300705]
A tile hung brick tower mill, built in 1750 for Goodwood Estates.
Although externally complete, she is only a shell without floors or machinery. Major renovations carried out in 2004.
Splendid walks across open fields with views of Chichester and the coast.
